After a nine-day trial, and 21 hours of deliberation, a jury in Pennsylvania has found former Penn State assistant football coast Jerry Sandusky guilty of 45 of the 48 child sex abuse charges. The charges bring up to 442 years maximum, and even if he gets 10% of that he will die in prison.
Crowds waiting outside the courthouse cheered as the decision was read. Sandusky was then led out of the courthouse in handcuffs into a waiting police cruiser.
There is a special place in hell, and prison, for people like Jerry Sandusky who abuse and take advantage of innocent children. And Mr. Sandusky is about to find out very quickly how low on the totem pole he is when he hits the jail/prison system.
