NBA Trade Deadline Round-up

This week was busy in the NBA world.  As the trade deadline loomed, teams made significant moves to bolster their lineups or free up cap space.

Check out a few of the week’s highlights

Lakers: Hold on to Pau Gasol, Jordan Hill, Chris Kaman but trade guard Steve Blake to the Golden State Warriors for Kent Bazemore and MarShon Brooks

Pacers – 76ers: Indiana sends Danny Granger to Philly for Evan Turner and Lavoy Allen. The Pacers also sent their 2015 second-round draft pick to Philadelphia.  The 76ers, in a separate trade, sent starting center Spencer Hawes to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Wizards: Washington completed a three-team trade with the Denver Nuggets and Philadelphia 76ers, which landed the very disgruntled Andre Miller alongside John Wall in the capital.  Miller hasn’t played since January 2nd when he was suspended indefinitely by the Nuggets after an altercation with coach Brian Shaw.

Clippers – Knicks: The Knicks and Clippers were reportedly close on a deal that would send Iman Shumpert to Los Angeles.  However nothing could be agreed upon in time.
