>*UPDATED* WTF Minnesota Vikings?!?

I’m convinced the Minnesota Vikings are crazy.  They’ve let Brett Favre takeover their team and decide what’s best for himself, not them.  And then Monday morning my feelings were confirmed.  The Minnesota Vikings made the decision to WAIVE Randy Moss.  WTF??????  Is this a late Halloween joke or something?  Nope…Brad Childress let his team know in meetings that WR Randy Moss was no longer with the team.

I understand that Moss may not have been playing in top form, but I have a feeling that is more of an indictment on the current state of the team, not Randy.  After going from a team as regimented as the Patriots to whatever you want to call the Vikings, I might be a little perturbed too.  A player like Randy Moss needs structure and order, and ask anyone, that ain’t what’s going on in Minny right now.

This team is seriously ridiculous and it starts with head coach Brad Childress.  This is the same guy that kissed Brett’s butt to get him to play…then has allowed Brett, one of the most selfish players in the league, to do whatever he wants including putting the team second when it comes to starting hurt.  I’m not a Vikings fans but I sure do know that they need to consider a coaching change this offseason because Chilly is definitely not setting them up to be contenders this year.

So apparently the whole “Randy Moss waived by Vikings” news isn’t exactly a done deal.  Looks like Chilly might have acted on his own out of frustration and opened up his mouth when he shouldn’t have.  Randy Moss’s name did not appear on the waiver wire today, and Randy Moss was never told that he was waived.  Chilly just told the team this morning.  And he apparently didn’t clear the waiver with the team administration or ownership.  Hmmmm…guess we’ll have to wait to see where this one is going.
